About Me!
Welcome to my teacher portfolio! My name is Jaclyn Hahn, and I am from West Deptford, New Jersey. In my elementary, middle, and high school years I attended West Deptford District Schools. I decided to continue my education at Neumann University, where I eventually made the decision to become a High School Biology teacher! During my time at Neumann, I was captain of the dance team which truly taught me how to be adaptive, a conscientious leader, and an exemplary role model.
In my free time, I enjoy teaching dance and spending time with my daughter!
My inspiration to become a teacher came from my high school biology teacher. I never felt as motivated and determined in a class as I did in his. He truly made me feel like I could succeed in a difficult class, which is exactly how I would like to influence my students in the future. I chose Biology because it resonates the most with me out of all of the high school subjects. Biology teaches us where we come from, where we are going, and how we grow into the people we become. I have been given an opportunity to educate young minds with the most valuable information, a task I will treat with respect and the utmost importance.
